I'm sure he knew that the Republic of Korea is South Korea, an ally of the U.S. Of course he did, and of course he'll apologize, in private channels (sure). Way to go, Congressman.

Setting aside decorum and human decency and all that, which the GOP congressman did, he cited the Republic of Korea as an entity that "it's just like talking to..."
