"I know at least one person who likes me. Cindy, where are you? Cindy?" |
John McCain holds the record for appearing on Sunday talk shows. He's been on them a total of 1,443,849 times. Well, maybe not that much, but he's on a lot.
There is another area where he's number one:
He's the least popular senator in the U.S.:
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is the least popular senator in the United States with his constituents, according to a new
poll.
Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling found that 30 percent of
Arizonans approve of McCain's job performance while 54 percent
disapprove -- the worst net approval in the country, according to the
firm's
tracking of approval ratings for senators.
McCain is almost equally unpopular with Republicans (35 percent
approve; 55 percent disapprove), Democrats (29 percent-53 percent) and
independents (25 percent-55 percent).
Funny thing is that this doesn't mean he won't be reelected. Okay, it's not funny.
